General Description:
AlNiCo Magnets was found at end of 1940s , it is earliest permanent magnets made by peoples . this magnetic material is an alloy of aluminum-nickel-cobalt which possesses an excellent temperature stability and high residual induction. it can be used for continuous applications where temperature extremes up to 550 degree C.According to different manufacture ways , AlNiCo permanent magnet including Casting AlNiCo magnet and sintering AlNiCo magnets . Specialized casting techniques used to achieve the unique crystalline grain orientation found in the alnico 5 and 9 grades. Sintered Alnico Magnet offer slightly lower magnetic properties but its mechanical characteristics is better than that one of Cast Alnico.
Advantage of Sintered Alnico Magnets:
1) Excellent temperature stability and max working temperature range 450oC~550oC
2) Compact crystal structure and Strong corrosion resistance capability which surface needn’t any plating.
Advantage of Cast Alnico Magnets:
Strong corrosion resistance
The maximum working temperature is up to 500°c
High density and strong magnetic properties
Cast Alnico magnets can be produced in relatively complex shapes
